Omulangira Lumansi said on CBS waves that he has no capacity to help Mr Baliruno.

The management of Central Broadcasting Services Ltd (CBS) has bowed to pressure and accepted that Mr Yusuf Baliruno ‘Of Uganda’ was their employee at CBS.

Mr Baliruno decided to cry to the public for help after he was disowned by his former bosses at CBS FM radio station.

Uganda Journalist Association (UJA) president Hajji Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira has called for a special meeting for the supreme journalists body to discuss about the worsening situation of Yusuf Baliruno ‘Of Uganda’.

Hajji Mbaziira told Whisper Eye that they have not meet Mr Baliruno yet, however they have watched his video recordings trending on Social media.

Buganda’s Central Broadcasting Services (CBS) renown local sports presenter Yusufu Baliruno, popularly known as Baliruno of Uganda, has cried out to authorities for Justice.

The presenter was interdicted from his work early this year 2020. Whisper Eye has learnt.

Mr Baliruno said that he has worked at CBS radio for 20 years without pay.

FUFA to receive UGX 800 million virus relief fund from CAF

 Africa soccer governing body CAF will distribute $200,000 to each of its members to support the management of football at the domestic levels hugely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

At its meeting on Thursday  via video-conference, the CAF Emergency Committee has approved the immediate distribution of financial grants to Member Associations (MA). A total of $10.8 Million will be transferred to the 54 MA’s on the continent as part of a relief plan to ease the financial burden on the African football community during these unprecedented times.

Edrisa Lubega ‘Torres’ came off the bench to score his second goal of the season in two fixtures as Paide Linnameeskond defeated FC Kuressaare 2-0 in the Estonian Premium Liiga.

Lubega replaced Kristofer Piht at the start of the second half to score Paide Linnameeskond’s second goal on 56 minute.

The Uganda Cranes striker went one on one from a counter attack and put the ball beyond the keeper to make up for his early misses.

William Kizito Luwagga was on target for Hapoel Kfar Saba in their 2-1 defeat to Hapoel Haifa in a friendly game played on Friday at Lavita Stadium in Kfar Saba, Israel.

Luwagga was on a return from injury, scored the first goal of the game in the 20th minute.

The Uganda Cranes offensive midfielder joined the Israeli club on 9th January, 2020 and played four games with his debut coming against Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv on January 20th.
