The government spokesperson Mr. Ofwono Opondo P’odel has attributed the failure of KCCA as an authority to do its work well to the Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka who leads its technical wing. #WhisperEyeNews
According to Opondo, Dorothy Kisaka was not the right person for the job and thus her managerial weaknesses have exposed the rot and failure of the authority to live to upto the expectation of Ugandans.
Ofwono’s words came as he was appearing on a political talk show on Thursday evening where he also added that the political wing led by Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has also failed to play its part spending most of the time politicking and lamenting.
This week, social media was awash with photos of the numerous portholes in the roads in Kampala. However the ED Kisaka defended herself saying that this is due to lack of funds from the government to fix the roads and thus there is nothing much they can do as an authority when there is no money.
