“Any corrupt person in Uganda is playing with fire and we are going to finish them.” Museveni

The President of Uganda Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni while on a country wide tour in West Nile today said all those who are involved in the criminal act of corruption are playing with fire and soon they will be no more.

Museveni’s words come at a time when the public is still under shock following the theft of iron sheets that were meant for the people of Karamoja. The scandle has seen the Karamoja Minister Mary Gorreti Kitutu being thrown behind bars pending a court ruling on her fate.

Gen Museveni in a letter to the Prime Minister expressed disappointment on the theft of the iron sheets calling it a subversive act that jeopardizes the security of the country. He urged to take political action after a thorough investigation is done by the investigation authorities.
