The Kyabazinga of Busoga His Majesty William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, the state minister of environment, in the ministry of water and environment Beatrice Atim Anywar, and Bishop Godfrey Luwagga have been awarded honorary Doctorates of humanity and Divinity from Zoe Life theological colleague -United States of America (USA) due to their achievements towards the development of the country.
Kyabazinga says he will use this award to continue promoting democracy, Unity, enabling the environment both within and outside Busoga towards the development of the economy as a tool to shift the country to at least middle income status.
“I urge Ugandans to love each other without fighting because it is the only way to go” he added.
Minister Beatrice Atim Anywar applauded Zoe Life theological colleague for awarding her Doctorate of humanity saying it is a success to her, however she advised Ugandans to be thankful to God who determines our future.
Others who were also awarded doctorates in humanity are Bufumbira East lawmaker in Kisoro district, James Nsaba Buturo, Nakawa West legislator Ronald Nsubuga Balimwezo,senior police officer working with the criminal investigations directorate (CID) Kibuli Kampala, Johnson Monday, Balaam Barugahare Ateenyi and Bishop Godfrey Luwagga was also awarded doctorate in divinity among others.
Bishop Godfrey Luwagga is the vision bearer of the city of the lord outreach ministries and is the bishop of Kampala international fellowship. He is a passionate minister of the gospel whose heart of ministry resonates with evangelical outreaches.
He says he deserved the award due to his contribution and effort to preach the word of God tirelessly.
“After having been awarded doctorate in divinity, let us now be consultants to our fellows to promote our culture, religion to build a strong faith in all believers of God” he added.
Rector, Zoe East and central Africa, Rev. Dr. Can. Patrick Semambo says a group of 50 delegates sit together and identify various people who have contributed towards social, political, religious and economic development of their countries.
