Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi is set to meet the Leader of Opposition (LoP) who doubles as Nyendo- Mukungwe legislator Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba and the leader of National Unity Platform (NUP) hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert popularly known as Bobi Wine in a secret meeting. #WhisperEyeNews
Reliable sources intimated to Mengo Kingdom told Whisper Eye News, that the meeting is scheduled before the end of December 2022, atrusted source confirms.
The source further told us that Hon Mpuuga will be accompanied by Kimaanya-Kabonera Division legislator hon Dr. Abed Bwanika who usually features on Kabaka’s radio Central Broadcasting Services (CBS) on ‘Palamenti Yaffe’s program on Saturdays.
The source said that Mr. Wine confirmed attendance, but it is not clear which other NUP official will accompany him to the meeting.
Although the source declined to discuss the details of the meeting, speculations are high that the meeting is about the ongoing political turmoil in the country and calls for a peaceful way of handling the dynamics.
Mpuuga’s political career dates way back to 1996 when he joined Dr. Paul Kawanga Semogerere’s campaign task force as the country returned to elective politics.
In 2002, he was elected Masaka District Youths Chairman before he was picked in 1998 to serve as a member of the Buganda Great Lukiiko.
In 2006 got appointed as the Mengo minister for Youths which position helped him to get closer to Kabaka Mutebi.
