Former EALA & MP aspirant Byamukama Lawerence defrauds millions, dragged to police

The Former Kinkiizi East Member of parliament aspirant Mr. Byamukama Lawerence Rwebishengye defrauded the complaints that there is a sugarcane machine they would buy and make money.

Byamukama Lawerence is set to be arrested and arraigned for allegedly defrauding unsuspecting people of millions through various agents across the country.

Byamukama Lawerence, who goes by the alias Byamukama Lawerence Rwebishengye is attached to gotovate tours and he is the director of Rwebis Industries according to the receipts he issued to his clients turned his conned victims, and with intent to defraud, allegedly obtained Sh 2,000,000 from Kanshabe Gerland and Jean Namatovu on diverse dates by falsely pretending that he will buy them a sugar machine that he will then pay them 20000 daily for a period of one year which he didn’t.

On another day Lawerence promised to refund the said money on diverse dates pretending that he was in a position to return the said money.

A police reference

The complaints have told the Ntinda police court that Lawerence has obtained several amounts of money from various people around Ntinda however now he is playing hide and seek.

The two complainants that dragged the Kikinzi man claimed they were similarly duped into joining him by a lady identified as Kanyorobe Rossette to look for money and immediately pay for the machine so that they will be well assured of the daily income money but ended up being conned.

The victims said they remitted their deposits to him in cash to Lawerence but efforts to reach him to get the promised machine and daily money proved futile.

The two have so far asked Lawerence back their money and also reported the matter to the police who assured them that they will arrest the former EALA aspirant and it is then that more victims are coming out to discover they had been conned.
