The LC III chairman of Kayabwe town council Mr. Kasule Zed is in trouble after forging 16 LC II and LC I chairpersons stamps on the document he presented in Kayabwe town council meeting claiming to block Mpigi district commercial officer, Mr. Kazibwe Ronald, from carrying out any official duties in Kayabwe.
An inauthentic document was authored to Mpigi District Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Mr. Moses Kanyarutokye on 25th May 2022, requesting him to meet all Kayabwe town council LC I and LC II chairpersons stoping the commercial officer from doing any official duties in Kayabwe town council and halting the development of equator.
17 chairpersons whose signatures were appended on the document have protested back with a letter dated 26th May 2022, to CAO disclaiming the controversial document.
On 27th May 2022, 17 chairpersons of Kayabwe town council led by Nabusanke Ward LC II Chairman Mr. Mpoza Alex delivered the letter at Mpigi district headquarters, and it was received.
Whisper Eye has learnt that among the chairpersons disowning the document include; Lukaali Jude Kinamala Chairman LC II Nakibanga, Muwanga Henry Chairman LC I Kawango B, Musoke Augustine Kawango A, Kasaka Charles Busseese B.
Others are; Ssekintu Vincent Chairman Busseese B, Jombwe Richard Chairman LC I Kalagala, Kabuye Moses Chairman LC I Nkozi B, Ssebuufu Denis Chairman LC II Busseese Ward, Ssalongo Jjingo Chairman LC I Wassozi A, Kibirige John Chairman LC I Nabusanke A, Nakayange Nuluyati Vice chairperson Kikomazi, Mpoza Alex Chairman LC II Nabusanke Ward.
Chairpersons say that they can not block development in their area, thus supporting the development of the equator line at Kayabwe.
After Mayor Kasule Zed presented the document to the Council, councilors raised concerns as to why the document purportedly to be a council document was signed by LC I and LC II chairpersons.
Whisper Eye News is reliably informed that CAO has not yet responded to the matter, and we shall keep you posted on the new developments.
