Former Lubaga South MP and CP President John Ken Lukyamuzi who is also a member of the newly formed Pressure group by Kizza Besigye the PFT has come out to say that the absence of the National Unity Platform and its President Bobi Wine in the newly formed Peoples’ Front for Transition pressure group cannot stop the struggle from going forward.

Lukyamuzi’s words come at a time when NUP has distanced itself from the PFT with inside sources saying that NUP has no interest in joining Besigye’s group since they already have their own, the People Power.

According to Lukyamuzi, the PFT was not formed to rival People Power as many think but rather as a front to liberate this country from the chains of Gen Museveni.

Lukyamuzi adds that those who say the PFT was formed to rival People Power should also find answers as to why the People Power Pressure group was formed yet the opposition already had the People’s government led by Dr. Besigye.

Lukyamuzi says that such rumors are spread by regime-sponsored fellows who want to paint a picture that there are rubbing shoulders within the opposition as to who leads the front to oust Gen Museveni out of power.
