“Lokech has left a bad legacy in the police force.” Ssemujju Nganda

The country was shocked following the sudden death of Maj Gen Paul Lockech the Deputy IGP of Police Force.

In many cases when one dies, it’s the good part of him that is always talked about. However, Kiira Municipality MP Hon Ssemujju Nganda has no kind words for the fallen General.

Ssemujju says that Lokech was a whipping tool of the NRM government who was used to execute whatever mission that pleased his boss.

Ssemujju says in the Police force, Lokech left a bad legacy citing the Investigation case of Gen Katumba Wamala’s attempted murder where Lokech was the leader of the investigation. Ssemujju says the results saw Gen Lokech bringing two dead suspects and two severely tortured suspects something that showed a bad picture of the police force.

Ssemujju adds Lokech was not as good as he was praised to the extent of calling him the lion of Mogadishu because the UPDF generally has never succeeded in eliminating the rebels in Somalia.
