The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zayan Investment and seasonal politician in Uganda Mr. Witonze Juma has congratulated Zambian opposition leader who emerged winner of the Thursday presidential election Mr. Hakainde Hichilema popularly known as HH.

Mr Witonze while speaking to Whisper Eye News in an exclusive interview said that African countries are blessed to have H.E Hichilema as the president of Zambia.

Hon Witonze has congratulated Mr Hichilema Zambia’s president-elect in a statement issued on 17th August 2021, at Kampala, Uganda.

His statement in full;

Congratulations Zambia, congratulations Africa.

At the very beginning, democracy is fast evolving in Africa but no country has tested its fruits like the Zambian nation. At the dearth end of the democratic propaganda in Africa, Zambia stood firm to its principles and has always had a peaceful transition of governments through electoral process.

How accommodative are they to stand as the democratic America of Africa?

The victory of President Elect Hakainde Hichilema is a reality most Africans wish to witness through a ballot. At the time when nations are severely longing for a new mindset, Zambia has provided a means of long stay to principles of National identity and truism to respect of rule of law.

In a bid to rekindle the plight of their nation, they have put forward a statement of hope that what can happen in the west, can happen here.

To president Edgar Chagwa Lungu, well done to the nation for the long service and may the plight of the nation stand at the fore of personal ambitions.

We are all looking forward to the leadership of a strong pan African, a people’s darling and an able leadership of a pan African who has stood 5 times in a row and only came to victory now, when most would have given up already. Indeed when you stand strong to what you believe is right, people understand the values you stand for and buy into your project.

May the people of Zambia triumph always over their naysayers.

Mr Witonze’s statement reads.

Hichilema the president of United Party for National Development (UPND) enjoyed a landslide victory over incumbent Zambian president Lungu of the Patriotic Front (PF). HH gunned 2,810,757 votes and Mr Lungu scored 1,814,201 votes.

Hichilema was declared winer and become the 7th president of the Republic of Zambia upon his swearing-In ceremony after contesting for the top office for six times.

“Am endorsing comrade Hichilema because he’s an economist and African countries have been struggling with dwindling economies so we need leaders who understand how to revamp the economy since it’s the engine of the state,” endorses Mr Witonze.

Mr Hakainde Hichilema popularly knowns as HH is one of the best economists on the African continent.

He is an agribusiness man who has successfully engaged him self in cattle rearing among other agribusinesses in Zambia.

“I’m preparing to travel to Lusaka soon to be part of history, I’m ready to campaign for Comrade HH,” Mr Witonze Juma said.

HH has put amounted more pressure on President Edgar Lungu the incumbent and the flag bearer of the ruling Patriotic Front Party (PF), there are other 14 candidates in the race. Zambia will go to polls next month on 12th.
