War!! Gen Museveni Mobilizes 20,000 Strong Army Ready To Enter South Sudan To Protect Incumbent Govt From Falling. Whisper Eye News

As reported yesterday when Gen Museveni sent UPDF troops to Uganda-South Sudan border amidst fresh war in Juba following the army High Command resolution, the commander in chief has finally changed his mind this time opting to send the troops in to South Sudan territory.

This will not be the first time Gen Museveni has directly entered into war in South Sudan having previously sent the troops there in 2013 and 2016 to protect Salva Kiir’s government from falling.

A source from the security has notified this media that Gen Museveni has ordered the Army Commander to mobilize 20000 troops ready for war in South Sudan where Uganda has so many interests ranging from Regional peace and trade.

A source says that Museveni is willing to protect S. Sudan even with the last man standing because the northern neighbour has been a source of market and trade area for many Ugandan merchants as well as considering the fact that South Sudan is planning to join the East African Community .

Ugandan traders have always been a target by rebels groups with many dieing following attacks. On many occasions, traders were always escorted by long convoys of soldiers something that is yet to resume once again.

Refresh fighting started after a section of the rebels rejected the move to kick out Dr Machar, who is South Sudan’s First vice President, sparking skirmishes with the renegade group something that has led to unpeaceful times in Juba once again.
