Big Story: Jailed Mubiru James runs to high court five months after his arrest by UPDF.

Lubaga North 111 elected Lord Councilor James Mubiru has sort High Court interventions on his continued detention by the UPDF.

Through his lawyers, Wameli and company advocates jailed Lubaga North 3 Lord councillor has applied to the high court of Uganda for his unconditional release from military prison where he has languished for over 5 months.

Whisper Eye has learnt that the procedure leading to his detention of was irregular and unlawful under the laws of Uganda.

Through a notice of motion sworn by a one Turyamusiima Goefrey they ask court to make the following declaration

That Mubiru James is unreasonably detained.

That Mubiru James be unconditionally released.

Thay Consequential directions be issued accordingly

It should be remembered that the said Mubiru James has been remanded before trial for a period exceeding 120 days. Turyamusiima Goefrey states.

Turyamusiima Goefrey also says, that there are no justifiable reasons for the continued detention of the said Mubiru James.

Mubiru James is Lubaga North 3 elected Lord councilor who is a strong member of the National Unity platform and its National Unity Platform coordinator in Lubaga
