The Buikwe South County legislator who also doubles as the Vice-Chairman Buganda Parliamentary Caucus Hon Dr. Salongo Bayigga Michael Philip Lulume Kasajja has donated food relief to residents affected by the 42 days of the second phase of Covid-19 lockdown.

Democratic Party (DP) Chairman Buikwe District Hon Dr. Bayigga Lulume delivered food reliefs including Maize flour, Sugar, among others to residents of Nkokonjeru Town Council, Ngogwe Subcounty, Nagunga, Ajija, Matale and Buikwe Rural.

Dr Lulume tasked the government to implement her Covid-19 fund promises to citizens that are affected by the lockdown.

“The need for relief aid in this period is overwhelming. Office of the prime minister must act as soon as possible,” says Dr Bayigga.

“As the area MP I have contributed what I can, but it is not enough,” he added.
