Mukono municipality MP Nambooze Betty hails Mpigi district woman MP Teddy Nambooze for her extraordinary representation. Whisper Eye News

Last week, Mpigi woman MP hon Teddy Nambooze donated food items, masks, sanitizers, and soap to her constituents affected by the 42 days of the second Covid-19 lockdown.

MP Teddy Nambooze is among fresh MPs in 11th Uganda’s Parliament, but she is promising basing on her efforts in the past two months after her swearing-In as Mpigi district woman MP.

In an appreciation post hon Nambooze Betty Bakireke, the Mukono municipality legislator shared on her page, she hailed her namesake MP Teddy for a great job done in the past few weeks.

“Be aware that in the 11th Parliament there are two Namboozes…, Nambooze Teddy MP-Mpigi District and Nambooze Betty the senior MP- Mukono Municipality. We are both Baganda, Catholics, Kkobe-Clan, and NUP,” reads the post in part.

“I thank my sister Hon. Nambooze Teddy for Properly maintaining our name. And I pray that the Lord God continues with his mercy, protection and love and that we stay blessed And women of courage,” the post reads further.

A reliable source intimated to Whisper Eye News that, the Mukono Municipality legislator is pleased with the way Hon Teddy Nambooze is representing the Uganda opposition. Saying that gives hope to the generation that the liberation struggle is getting nearly.

MP Nambooze Teddy- NUP defeated National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate hon Sarah Nakawunde who served two terms.

She is among the loyal legislator to Kyadondo East former Mp Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu .
