MP Tinkasimire lists five reasons why Museveni, 36 years is a total failure.

Buyaga West Member of Parliament (MP), Barnabas Tinkasimire has penned down five reasons why president Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s 36 years in power a total loss to Ugandans.

The outspoken NRM rebel MP, Tinkasimire has made his remarks in connection to the ongoing poor government response to Covid-19 pandemic.

MP Tinkasimire believes that 80% of entire Uganda’s population is vulnerable and qualify to receive the UGX.100,000/= Covid-19 relief fund from the prime minister’s office.

“My experience as a leader in Uganda almost 80% of Ugandans are vulnerable. Will all these people get the said 100,000 ?????. Last time in the first wave of covid19 government responded by giving posho (Maize flour) and beans to the so called vulnerable. But is the story going to continue like this?????,” asks MP Tinkasimire.

“Am still inclined to ask this question if 36yrs of M7’s rule can still leave people with no capacity to afford posho and beans or 100,000 in 42 days then we who keep just voting him why don’t we ask him hard questions to account for his rule for this country for 36yrs?,” he asks further.

Buyaga County West legislator told Whisper Eye News that he finds the biggest number of Ugandans still staying in crowded houses.

“You find a man with his household living in a house of one room 7 people that is a man and his wife and 5 children,” says Hon Tinkasimire.

“How many years now does M7 need to create capacity in this ordinary Ugandan to have capacity to have a decent house with sufficient rooms for his family? The second question should be how many years does he need to create capacity in this ordinary Ugandan to afford 3 meals in a day with resorting to these fire brigade methods of giving out posho and beans and Ugx 100,000/=,” he asked.

The third question to Mr Museveni according to MP Tinkasimire should be how many years does he need to transform the ordinary Ugandan to have capacity to pay fees for their children from primary one to university.

His fourth question is how many years does president Museveni need to create capacity in the ordinary Ugandan in the face of covid19 if he got it to be able to pay his or her medical bills without first fundraising and lasting how much time does he need to make every Ugandan household access safe water for home consumption and irrigation for agriculture ?????

Tinkasimire has shortlisted five reasons why president Museveni’s 36 years rule has yielded nothing to the entire population.

He tasked all those willing to defend Mr Museveni to look at the situation at their villages and make a proper analysis together with the local residents to find out the following;

  1. How many households are in the village?
  2. How many households in that village live in a decent house with at least 3 bedrooms, with a room for the man and his wife, children rooms for boys and girls or the visitors.
  3. How many people/ households can afford 3 meals in a day in that village.
  4. How many households in your village have been able to pay fees for their children from primary one to university.
  5. How many households in the village have safe water (tap water/borehole) at their homes for home consumption and irrigation for agriculture.

“Then you return we reason together to ask Uganda’s chief executive on when does he plan to transform this country,” Tinkasimire stated.

MP Tinkasimire joined Bobi Wine’s People Power Movement but when the Movement officially became a political party; National Unity Platform (NUP) he remained in the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).

He is one of the NRM rebel MPs who always criticize their political party and National chairman Mr. Museveni.
