Maama Luweero Cissy Mulondo donates rice , posho to Luweero Diocese staff. Whisper Eye News

The former Luwero district woman MP contestant educationalist Cissy Mulondo popularly known as Maama Luwero has donated food to Luweero diocese.

Among the items donated includes posho and rice to help the clergies and staff during the ongoing second phase of Covid-19 lockdown.

Through her Persoanl Assistant Mr Male Aggrey and other cordinators of Cissy Mulondo , items were delivered to Bishop Elidard Nsubunga of Luweero Diocese

On receiving the food items Luwero Diocese bishop Rev. Eridard Kironde Nsubuga applauded Ms Cissy Mulondo for her good deeds during this trying moment of Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

“We appreciate her committed heart towards helping our diocese. The Covid-19 crisis in the country has affected everything, businesses it takes one with a big heart to help another,” said bishop Kironde.

Ms Mulondo lost the woman MP seat to Hon Brenda Nabukenya after the National Unity Platform (NUP) wave swept the Buganda region.

However, she has continued reaching out to Luweero people at all times despite losing the election
