Exclusive: Death cheat Moses Kibalama wants NUP party back, vows to strictly review MOU with People Power

Whisper Eye has learnt that the founder and former president of National Unity Platform (NUP) Mzee Nkonge Moses Kibalama wants his so called party back.

The resurrected Kibalama who survived the notorious Covid-19 a couple of weeks ago has vowed to strictly review a memorandum of understanding signed between NUP and People Power Movement immediately after cheating death.

Mr Kibalama argues that his party NUP signed a memorandum of understanding with People Power Movement led by then Kyadondo East MP hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert a.k.a Bobi Wine on 11th July 2020.

However, after signing this MOU and what transpired along the way, they (NUP) founders have found out that People Power Movement was not a registered legal entity under Mr Wine and his most trusted friend the Secretary General David Lewis Rukiri a.k.a Rubongoya.

A reliable source close to Mr Kibalama and other party founders made up a decision of terminating the MOU, after establishing that, Mr Rubongoya who signed on behalf of People Power Movement had no legal backing.

According to the MOU section 5, states; The two parties ( National Unity Platform and People Power Movement) have agreed to these terms having fully consented to them and without any compulsion. This Memorandum shall be reviewed a year from the date of executing this agreement.

Mr Rukiri signed on behalf of People Power Movement and Kibalama signed on behalf of NUP.
