Bobi Wine’s party NUP recovers its Facebook, Twitter accounts from suspected government hackers. Whisper Eye News

National Unity Platform has successfully recovered its social media accounts from suspected internet hackers.

According to economictimes.com hacking is an attempt to exploit a computer system or a private network inside a computer. Simply put, it is the unauthorized access to or control over computer network security systems for some illicit purpose.

Bobi Wine led political party confirmed that it has fully recovered the social media accounts, it states

Greetings, comrades.

We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully retrieved this Page following a cyber attack that the Party and its staff suffered towards the climax of the 2021 electoral period. Recently, we also recovered our Twitter account (@NUP_Ug) that had suffered a similar attack.

You may have noticed that in a bid to ease our digital communications, we had opened up an alternative page through which we have been communicating. We intend to merge these pages for avoidance of confusion.
