Residents in Mukono North constituency have celebrated president Museveni’s decision to discard former state minister for Water Resources in Uganda Mr. Ronald Kibuule.

Early this year, Mukono north voted out Mr. Kibuule, who was replaced by Kampala-based lawyer Abudallar Kiwanuka.

Mukono North constituents gave mainly two reasons why they could not vote Mr Kibuule again; One he was involved in Land scandals in greater Mukono District.

Two, Mr Kibuule disrespected Buganda Kingdom when he was summoned by Justice Bamugemereirwe’s Land Commission of Inquiry, Kibuule told the Commission that he does not know Buganda’s Namasole since she is not elected by a vote.

Kibuule pressed a wrong button, which made him very unpopular in Buganda.

A reliable source told Whisper Eye News that president Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni could not keep hated Kibuule in his cabinet.

“I advise Mr Kibuule to go rear goats. He will get enough money after being dropped by president Museveni,” says a resident of Kalagi in Mukono North constituency.

In January immediately after the presidential elections Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) withdrew all Special Forces Command (SFC) guards from Minister Kibuule after involving them in unacceptable election malpractice.

Mr Kibuule has been the area MP for Mukono county North, for 10years.
