Panic in Mpigi district after main hospital run out of Covid-19 vaccines amidst presidential restrictions.

Mpigi residents are flocking to Mpigi Health Center IV in Mpigi Town Council to be vaccinated, but unfortunately, it is now close to a month since the facility run out of vaccines.

Mpigi district woman Mp hon Nambooze Teddy was shocked after receiving the information.

Mp Nambooze visited the health facility to check out its status during this difficult situation of Covid-19 pandemic.

“I have been shocked after our medical officers reveal to me that Mpigi Health Center IV has no even a single dose of Covid-19 vaccine,” says Mp Nambooze Teddy.

“I request that our health minister-president Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni deliver Covid-19 vaccines to Mpigi. The hospital is just 35km from Kampala,” she added.

Currently, president Museveni has no ministers and is responsible for all ministries.

Mpigi health workers cried to the government to provide more protective gears since the situation is getting worse every day due to Covid-19.
