Uganda Revenue Authority FC has defeated Mbarara City 2-0 in Ndejje to extend their lead in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League. Brian Majwega put the tax collectors in the lead when he converted a penalty after Joackiam Ojera was fouled in the box in the first round.

URA Captain Shafick Kagimu sealed the victory in the 61st minute of the game to grant the tax collectors well-deserved victory against Mbarara City. URA FC head coach Sam Simbwa says the win is very good and gives them an advantage after going four points off Vipers who are second on the table.

The gaffer also says the win will motivate them as they head to a Uganda cup game against Express FC, which has beaten his side home and away in the league.

URA now has 47 points, four points clear off Vipers although the venoms have a game in hand.  Elsewhere in Uganda Premier league, Airtel Kitara beat Kyetume 4:2 and SC Villa held BUL 1:1
