How Gen Saleh ordered electoral commission to nominate Ssegirinya Richard without filling nomination forms nor presenting authentic academic papers. Whisper Eye Reports

Shocking reliable information reaching our desk has revealed how Gen. Salim Saleh, President Museveni’s young brother ordered the Electoral Commission (EC) officials to nominate Ssegirinya Richard, the Kawempe North MP Elect without valid academic certificates required by law.

Mr. Ssegirinya is popularly known as Mr Updates and at times ‘Eddoboozi ly’e Kyebando’ the voice of Kyebando failed to present the 10 voters required by the law to second a Parliamentary candidate before he/she is nominated.

Our source further revealed that this is just part of the wider plan by Mr. Museveni to finish the opposition and this plan was to be fulfilled by among others infiltrating the opposition.

It was decided that serious opposition leaders who have been giving president Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni a hard time over the past 20 years must be fought and stopped.

These were to be replaced by political novices mostly comedians and unserious characters in society.

This plan, if successful would, in turn, drive people from opposition especially when the lousy politicians were the ones at the forefront and in control of the Opposition.

A list seen by our investigative journalist has a number of MPs elected in the new opposition.

One of the lead protagonists of this plan is among the National Unity Platform big wigs who met Gen. Saleh in Kapeeka, Nakaseke in August 2020 and agreed to help fulfill this strategic mission.

On his part, the NUP top official was promised full support in attaining full control of NUP which had been dragged to court at the time.

He would also benefit financially from the position of which he holds in NUP.

According to the party’s constitution, 90% of the powers/control of NUP lies in the President and Secretary-General.

This explains why even Lubongoya, a law don signed on Ssegirinya’s unseconded nomination papers which is creating many doubts.

Mr. Ssegirinya team lead by a prominent Muslim cleric has already met top government officials to help him out of his shaky Academic documents case.

He used the academic papers of Nampiima Sarah (late) at ‘O’ level and Nabadda Maureen at ‘A’ level.

Many other MPs are also facing the same challenges and Whisper Eye News shall keep you updated in our next bulletin.
