The National Unity Platform leader Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has picked a pen to write to the army commander Gen David Muhoozi over the detention of his supporters by the Uganda peoples defense forces.

Earlier Bobi Wine had vowed to personally deliver the letter to CDF but police units blocked his wish.

In a letter seen by Whisper Eye, it was delivered and signed for by Lt Col on behalf of the CDF, Bobi Wine informs the CDF that hundreds of his supporters have been abducted by the various units of the Uganda peoples defense forces.

He says that some supporters have resurfaced and have confessed having been held at Makindye, Mbuya, Kalangala, Nakasongola, Kyengera and Kasijagmwa military facilities.

He also informs the CDF of the torture marks at the hands of security groups, SFC, CMI, ISO, LDU .

The outspoken leader says that the reason for the formal letter was to demand that all Ugandans still under illegal military detention are released immediately.

He also asked UPDF to cease trying civilians in military court
