Bobi Wine condemns James Mubiru abduction, say is held at State House Nakasero. Whisper Eye News.

The National Unity Platform president Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine has come out to condemn the arrest of his confidanat James Mubiru.

Bobi Wine states;

The search is still on for comrade Mubiru James, NUP’s LC5 Councillor-elect for Lubaga North who was abducted on Thursday last week by machine gun-toting military men hiding behind black balaclava masks.

I am reliably informed that the military first raided comrade Mubiru’s office in Nakulabye town on Wednesday 10th March 2021 but did not find him there. They kept tracking him until the following day when they ambushed him at Petrocity fuel station opposite Kasubi old Market.

The military men dragged comrade Mubiru out of his vehicle into theirs, and drove him all the way into State House Nakasero as one of our comrades who pursued them from a distance observed. Nothing has been heard of him since then.

Party lawyers have since checked several police stations around the city especially Old Kampala Police Station to see whether our comrade was ultimately dropped there, but the police officers on duty say they are unaware of Mubiru’s case. I understand, however, that his vehicle was towed to Old Kampala Police Station yesterday afternoon.

Mubiru joins several other members, leaders and supporters of the National Unity Platform who are abducted on a daily basis by security operatives led by members of the Special Forces Command, a national security outfit that Mr. Museveni uses as his private army.

Mr. Museveni may pervert all national security forces and institutions to execute his illegal motives, but he should know that the day of reckoning is near. He will not get away with it. No dictator in history ever did. #WeAreRemovingaDictator #BringBackOurPeople
