MYDA FC Hold Kitara FC 2:2

MYDA FC has held Kitara Football 2:2 in the Star-Times Uganda Premier League at the King George IV Memorial Stadium, Tororo.

Moses Batali’s late equalizer goal denied the Hoima based team their first win in twelve games in the top league since their debut.

Kitara started the game attacking and got their goal as early as in the 3rd minute through defender Kizito Zakayo with a tap in from a corner a goal that marked the outcome of haft time.

Kitara got their second goal in one minute of the second half through Nathan Oloro with a good finish from a through ball making it two for the visitors however MYDA got a consolation goal in the 65th minute through a penalty by Ibrahim Nsimbe.

MYDA FC kept pushing for an equalizer and at last Moses Batali levelled the game in the 94th minute of the added time. 

The result makes MYDA remain in the 15th position with 3 points while Kitara FC remains at the bottom of the table with only two points.

Elsewhere Express FC beat Busoga United 1:0, KCCA FC defeated UPDF 6:1 and URA FC beat Kyetume 2:0.

Meanwhile, Express FC’S victory over Busoga gives them an early lead of the table with 28 points removing Vipers SC which has 27 points.
