FUFA Forces Cranes Coach Jonathan Mckinstry to step aside for a period of one month due to poor performance,

Troubled Cranes Coach Jonathan Mckinstry will have a bad night this evening as his job continues to hang in balance.

This evening, the FUFA Executive committee came up with a decesion to relive Mckinstry off his duties for a period of one month starting 2nd March as the cranes head for two crucial AFCON qualifier matches against Burkina Faso and Malawi this month.

The decesion was attributed to Mckinstry’s poor performance against South Sudan in the AFCON qualifiers and also the poor performance in the just concluded CHAN Tournament in Cameroon that saw the Cranes appear to be at their worst.

The FUFA Executive commitee has said that for the mean time his assistants Livingstone Mbabazi, Abdallah Mubiru and goalkeeper coach Fred Kajoba will be in charge of the senior team with romours suggesting that Coach Morley Byekwaso who is doing wonders with the Cranes U-20 would take up the job interimly.

Before the CHAN Tournament, Mckinstry also had problems with goal Keeper coach Fred Kajoba whom he fired for allegedly breaking covid camp rules.
