Express FC beat URA 1-0 away in Bombo

This was URA’s first game in the league since then return of the top flight league following a one month break due to the CHAN Tournament in Cameroon.

It was a bad valentines day for the tax collectors as they lost their first game of the season at their own home. It looks like they are already missing the services of the departed Sayid Kyeyune who joined Sudan’s El Merrick early this month following a good spell in the just concluded CHAN Tournament.

URA also missed the services of their flying left winger Brian Majwega who is out for some weeks due to a harmstring injury.

Express came in a good form after sharing points in their previous game with Champions vipers and thus came to this fixture with a game fitter than the tax collectors.

The only goal of the day came in the 11th minute courtsey of George Senkaaba with a sweet volley in the box following a good cross from the right wing.

It looked like URA would come back into this game but missed alot of good chances that gave Express hope that it could go home with all the 3 points.

The 2nd half didnot have too much business as both sides failed to make serious attacks on each other.

Senkaaba the goal scorer was named the man of the match.
