Uganda health workers who work in health care for covid-19 patients are now among 417 covid-19 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Uganda.

The Ministry of Health released new information on Sunday evening  showing the number of positive cases has risen to 417.

Covid-19: Uganda records highest single day coronavirus cases

Uganda on Saturday reported 84 more cases, the highest daily figure ever, bringing the tally of cases to 413. Whisper Eye Reports.

The recoveries reach 72 with no fatalities, according to the country’s Health Ministry.

Rwanda has recorded the first deaths from Covid-19 , according to Rwandan broadcasting agency.

Africa has just 1.5% of the world’s reported cases of COVID-19, and less than 0.1 % of the world’s deaths, according to the UN health agency.

URA confirms the resignation of four untouchable commissioners

URA broke the silence like one hour ago saying the senior officials chose to quit.

Whisper Eye was reliably informed that the top four officials that included the Commissioner Domestic Taxes Dicksons Kateshumbwa and three others were forced to resign or face prosecution on various criminal offences.

Covid-19 Trade War: Kenyan truck drivers suspend movement to Uganda

A union representing Kenyan long-distance truck drivers has said it suspended the movement of trucks to neighbouring Uganda yesterday until they are assured of their safety, citing Covid-19-related stigma and harassment.
